An arched bridge over the Belaya river in the centre of Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, Russia, has opened to traffic after restoration.

The work on the road bridge, which dates to the 1950s, included complete replacement of the span structures and repair of the old supports.

It was commissioned by the Department for Construction, Repair of Roads and Artificial Structures of the Administration of the Urban District of Ufa. The contractor was JSC Uralmostostroy, with general design by JSC Institute Giprostroymost.
